Brian became a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club in the mid-1980s. He developed a passion for Studebaker Hawks, after seeing one when he was only 14 years old. The car impressed him so much that he followed it on his bicycle, struck up a conversation with the owner, and even got a ride in it. By the time he was 15 years old, he had become the proud owner of his own Studebaker Hawk. He paid $180 for it, and although it had holes in the floorboards and wiggly fins, it ran great!
Brian currently owns a 1960 Hawk, a 1959 Lark and a 1966 Cruiser. Throughout his life, he has owned a total of 42 Studebaker vehicles. He began vending at the local swap meet in 1982, and has since become one of the largest vendors. It is safe to say that he has probably never passed up a Studebaker sitting on the side of the road for sale!
Brian has been active in the local chapter holding the following titles:
President 2019, 2020, 2021, current
Swap Meet Chairman 1996, 2002
Brian’s with his 1960 Studebaker Hawk

Brian's 66 Cruiser was previously owned by Byers A. Burlingame, the last standing President of Studebaker Corporation.
